Terms and conditions
The terms under which we accept samples, carry out analyses and issue reports.
Last updated: 13 August 2026
Who these terms are between
These terms apply to every order placed through bionorthlabs.com, between BioNorth Labs and the person or company placing the order.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the mandatory consumer rights of your own country continue to apply. Nothing here takes them away.
What we do
We analyse the sample you send us and report what we measure. We do not verify what is on the label, we do not advise on what you should do with the result, and we have no interest in what the outcome is.
Analyses are carried out for research purposes. They are not diagnostics, not medical advice, and not an approval of the material for human use.
Ordering and prices
An order is placed when you complete the checkout. You receive a test ID and a unique key; together they identify the order and open your order page.
Prices are shown in euro per analysis, including any add-ons you select. The price that counts is the one shown at the moment you order, even if the catalogue changes later.
Payment
Payment is made in bitcoin. After ordering you receive a wallet address and the exact amount, both by email and on your order page.
Send the exact amount and quote your test ID. A different amount has to be matched by hand, which holds up the analysis. We treat the order as paid after one confirmation on the chain.
Analysis starts once both the payment and the sample have arrived.
Sending your sample
You arrange and pay for shipping to the lab, and you carry the risk of the sample in transit. Write the test ID on the vial itself: an unmarked sample cannot be matched to an order and cannot be analysed.
By sending a sample you confirm that you may lawfully possess and ship it, and that shipping it does not break the law of the country it leaves or the country it arrives in. That judgement is yours to make; we cannot make it for you.
We may refuse or destroy a sample that we are not permitted to hold or analyse, and we will say so if we do.
Turnaround
Turnaround times are listed with every analysis and are an expectation, not a guarantee. They run from the moment the sample has arrived and the payment has cleared; shipping time to the lab does not count towards them.
If an analysis is going to take considerably longer, we tell you rather than letting the date pass in silence.
The report
The report states what was measured, by which method, and with what measurement uncertainty. It applies to the sample as we received it and to nothing else — not to the batch it came from, and not to a second vial you did not send.
A report carries the test ID, not your name. It stays verifiable in our database so that anyone you show it to can check it is genuinely ours.
We report results as they come out, including results you were hoping not to see. We do not adjust them and we do not withhold them, and that is the only reason a report from us is worth anything.
If you think a result is wrong
Tell us. Write to info@bionorthlabs.com with your test ID and what you think is off, and we will look at the raw data behind the figure.
Where we find an error, we issue a corrected report under the same number with a new revision, so a link that was shared once keeps resolving to the current truth.
Cancelling and withdrawal
You can cancel free of charge for as long as your sample has not been analysed. Write to us with your test ID.
As a consumer in the European Union you normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because an analysis is a service that is carried out on your instruction, that right lapses once we have started it with your consent — which is what you agree to when you send in a sample.
An analysis that has been carried out is not refundable. The result being disappointing is not a defect in the service.
Liability
If something goes wrong on our side, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the analysis in question.
We are not liable for what you or anyone else decides to do on the basis of a report, nor for loss of profit, loss of stock or other indirect damage.
None of this limits our liability for intent, gross negligence, or anything else the law does not allow to be limited.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of the country where BioNorth Labs is established. Disputes go to the competent court there, unless mandatory law entitles you to your own court as a consumer.
Changes
We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one that was on the site when you placed it, and the date at the top tells you which that was.
