A report describes one sample

A result applies to the sample we received, in the state it arrived in. It says nothing about the rest of the batch, about a second vial you did not send, or about what the same supplier ships next month.

Every measurement carries an uncertainty, and the report states it. A figure without that context reads as more precise than it is.

We do not verify the label

What a sample is supposed to be is what you tell us. We report what we measure against that claim; we do not confirm the claim itself, and we cannot verify who made the material or where it came from.

No endorsement

A report is not a seal of approval. That an analysis matches the label says something about one sample and nothing about the seller, their other products, or their conduct.

We are not affiliated with the suppliers of the samples we test, and we do not sell, recommend or supply any of the compounds we analyse.

What you do with the result

The decision you make on the basis of a report is yours. So is the responsibility for possessing, shipping and using the material, which is regulated differently from one country to the next.
